Mentor roulette changes planned for EW? Removing MSQ from it?

I agree with OP. There is only a few spots that tend to stump new players and usually only for a short time, barring the occasional player that is just lost in the sauce and somehow going backwards through the dungeon rather than forward.

At the very least, Prae can be dropped. It's not like it is a long que for any class.

I know, I know, "You signed up for mentor roulette this is what you get...!"

But it's just one, simple and overly long dungeon amongst dozens when mentors already have the potential to que into things most players cannot. Give mentors a break

I think I'd feel less fussed about getting Castrum/Praetorium in mentor roulette if the roulette bonus was tied to clearing one of the instances period instead of specifically via the MSQ roulette.

Roulettes are there to fill queues. If you don't like what's in the roulette, don't run it. If you run it, don't complain about the results; you knew you could get it, you accepted that it could happen and you still chose to run the roulette. Stop complaining about getting something you don't like.

There are other ways to get those tomes.

I'd gladly take the 2 MSQ Dungeons with unskippable cutscenes over synced EX primals with randoms who don't wanna listen to your advice anyday of the week (Ramuh and Shiva EX parties being the biggest offenders here).

Already burned out to the seventh hell telling people how to clear the mechanics properly, only for some of them to hit zero HP by the same mechanic time and time again (people not going to their respective waymarks/CW for targeted ice + circle aoes, and people not stacking closely behind Shiva during her Bow Phase to keep it simple for Glass Dance and Avalanche, are a few examples.)
