Blacklist Feature Request

As of right now, the only way to blacklist someone is to target them. It would be a lot more helpful to be able to type the person's name into the blacklist so you can blacklist them from anywhere and don't have to hunt them down!

It's not fair that you have to track down someone you are trying to avoid just to avoid them.

usually I just use Contacts and blacklist from there since they would have been jerkfaces in something I ran.

so far, I have 3 people there, because I dont run into that many people that seem to wallow in being an idiot.

Before 4.5, this used to be possible, but once server identifications were added in preparation for World Visit, this became impossible for some reason. I don't see SE fixing it, because the inability to blist an individual you have never met prevents brigading to mass blist an individual for whatever reason. To them, it's an unintended side-effect ultimately playing in their favor.

Yeah, same, I have like 10 and I'm pretty sure 7 were particularly annoying bots. I boggle a bit that people get up to 200, lol

Have to agree with that. If you have 200 people on a blacklist you might need to do some soul searching.

A friendlist/blacklist rework would be good.

When you remove a friend, it doesnt remove you from their friendlist. And it's the same when you blacklist someone, you are still shown in their friendlist.

The blacklist is such a useless feature that you can still queue into something with someone that you blacklisted.
