Where to turn in collectibles other than "rarefied xxx"???

I've only recently gotten to lvl 50+ gathering, and encountered my first collectible items. Gathering them seems simple enough, and there's also some guides around. But they all seem to miss one important answer for me: Where can I get rid of all those collectibles?

The collectible appraisers I've found all only seem to accept "Rarefied xxx" items. But there are a ton more of collectibles, and I must have either missed the explanation of where to turn in these, or there simple was no such explanation?

I'm talking about stuff like "Bright Fire Rock", "Ice Stalagmite", "Rainbow Pigment", "Duskfall Moss", "Phial of Thermal Fluid" and others that you can collect in the lvl 50-60 range. I know some of these are reducible, so that might a solution for a few of them...

Sorry if there is an obvious answer here, but this all seems rather confusing to me right now!

You need to unlock Custom Deliveries.

Bright Fire Rock is Reductible. You can check tooltips and they will indicate which are Reductible.

(For others who might read this in the future, Aetherial Reduction can be unlocked by the quest No Longer a Collectable in Mor Dhona once you have a level 56 gathering class. It's basically gathering Desynthesis to yield crystals/clusters/aethersands.)

The rest of what you listed would be Custom Deliveries.

They start by unlocking Zhloe in Idyllshire. Once you've unlocked Zhloe, the rest (other than Kurenai) don't have to be unlocked in a specific order though they've got MSQ and/or side quest pre-requisites to meet.

M'naago is unlocked in Rhalgr's Reach (requires 4.1 MSQ to be completed).
Kurenai's unlock quest starts in Kugane (you'll need to do Kurenai's side quests at Sui-Na-Sato in Ruby Sea and have M'naago first).
Adkiragh is unlocked in Idyllshire (requires completion of Purbol Rein at Reunion in Azim Steppe first).
Kai-Shirr is unlocked in Eulmore (requires completion of next to last 5.1 MSQ quest along with unlocking Boutique of Splendors with Mowen in Eulmore).
Ehll Tou is unlocked in Firmament (requires Firmament to be unlocked and the main side quest chain there to completed up to the point you get Ehll Tou's side quest to explore Ishgard).
Charlemand is unlocked in Firmament (requires Firmament to be unlocked and the main side quest chain there to be mostly completed along with Charlemand's side quest The Brume Lifts).

Ok, thanks. I unlocked the first two custom deliveries (Idyllshire and Rhalgar's Reach). But doing these, I can still only turn in specific items.

So I assume then, that there simply is no way to "sell"/turn in other collectibles, like you can with the rarefied?

Guess I have to discard those items then (if they can't be reduced). I need that space in my bag

Sometimes you can lower quality on the items and they'll convert to items that can be sold to a vendor for a couple of gil (Duskfall Moss is worth 4 gil once you lower the quality as an example) but it's really not worth the effort.

Discarding anything you have left is the best way to go. You can always gather more once you do need them.
