It would be very nice to be able to wear whatever on whomever, I believe the thing we have to overcome is the devs sensibilities though. They eventually caved on the bunny suit (though.. TBH I have seen maybe 1 male character using it since they implemented it and am thinking most of that whole push was a meme), so it's not like they dunno how or can't. But it would also be some work to separate and implement a way to get both versions of equipment that currently just straight up appears differently depending on your selected sex.
