Why are so many people playing ninja lately?

On my Cornu character, My last three duties were The Royal City of Rabanastre, The Eyes of the Creator, and Containment Bay Z1T9. All three of which, all the DPS in my party were ninja except me.

I cannot vouch for the other alliances in The Royal City of Rabanastre, but in my alliance (A), it was four ninjas and me, a red mage.


It seems that more people are playing ninja right now.

Why is this?

It’s very subjective to say they’re the most played, even with a census it still is uncertain given numbers go up & down,

Maybe you happen to cone across by many ninja players by chance,

I do come across so many Red Mages & Dragoons whenever I do roulettes,

Ninja. It's the new Black Mage. Has Fire, Thunder, Water, Ice... Try prioritizing spells over combo's once you hit 70. You might like the results!

It simply one of the few classes that is almost perfect to play and you get what you expect. If your an OG its simply that we got our damage back

It seems that more people are playing ninja right now.

For every person claiming they saw more of X on Y day, another person hasn't seen one at all. I rarely ever see Ninjas in any duty. Doesn't mean there aren't people playing them, or that there are less/more than usual. Every duty is a roulette of players. You're bound to see everyone playing everything.

Alas, it's human nature to devise patterns, even from randomness. I'm sure there are actual stat pages of some description that better list these things, even if they themselves can't always be 100% accurate, but it's certainly better than assuming based on X amount of Y appeared in my duty today, so something must be up!

I'd say that people are trying to get the "level all to 80 mount" and this is the last class they are leveling ....
