How the hell does turn off glamour options, which is mostly likely (if not 100%) client side, will ruin someone else's glam lol. Besides, people requested this option is a minority, probably 20-30% of the server population. "oh no, not everybody see my $18+ glams, this is unacceptable!". You won't even notice it anyway, except if someone directly tell you first, which is... very unlikely.

IF (really emphasize on 'if') the devs have the time and resources to implement this feature, I bet all my gil nothing will change. People will still buy glams and mogstation glams.

Kinda funny considering that it's already sort of happened anyway due to mods. I know a lot of people do mods, and if they heavily mods their game, big chance your glam is already changed or broken on their side. Especially if you wear the lvl1 glams.
