    This is a game with mech suits and flying robots, and your immersion is broken because someone is able to wear a jacket?

    Get over it. Glamour is a form of expression, you don't get to turn that off, everyone would look like they're wearing clown suits without it which is far more immersion breaking anyway imo.

    Final Fantasy XIV have "fantasy" in the name but doesnt mean we are here in full plate armors killing dragons and building castles, just like we do not need to add fantasy into everything. The set for Final Fantasy XIV is this one, like you or not

    Immersion....have you paid any attention to the game you're playing? We have everything from the gold saucer to magitek to ironwork engineers, gun blades, omega, etc. The fact that most classes are using swords and bows against robots with machine guns and lasers is more immersion breaking then jeans and a tshirt.
