...this really is kind of a silly topic anyway, since what is immersion breaking for one is perfectly acceptable for another.

On top of that, there exist ways to change files within the game (ToS breaking ways, of course, but ones no body will ever care about), so if someone REALLY didn't like glamour X, the player really just lacks the gumption to learn how to do it.

100% so. That's why I do not want you or no one to limited just have a way to not see what you glamed or make this fasion way more common on npc's

Nope. Leave people's glamour alone. This topic is old already and the last time it was brought up it didnt end well either. They will NEVER give players the ability to ruin someone elses glam on their screen simply because most people who purchase the mog station outfits do so, so that others can see them wearing their shiny new outfit. They aren't going to lose making profit on 18 dollar a pop outfits because people like you want to cry "but my immersion"

As I've said in other threads, I'm more than happy for a 'glamour off' button to be created, as long as it turns the glamour system completely off for the player as well.

That wouldn't solve the problem, of course, since it's easy to hang out in Ul'dah wearing the glamour items themselves, 2B leggings and chocobo heads included.

And if you think current glamours are bad, wait for the gear mismatch from Shishui of the Violet Tides coupled with Fringes and Peak gear, just as an example.

FFXV has a great deal of clothing & armor variety. I would say it's almost on par with FFXIV.

Toggle to turn off glamours, fine!

I’ll just wear what’s in the glamour as my gearsets instead. Problem solved for both of us! You get to toggle glamours off, and I get to wear what I want while knowing no one can force their screen to showcase me as someone I’m not (unless they use illegal mods )
