the immersion problem made by glams

People complaining about "immersion" in a game set in fantasy setting and not based on real life history. Amusing. Just let people enjoy wearing whatever they like (this is a major reason why people play video games - they want to escape from limitations of real life and from selfish people who think that something is "inappropriate" to wear for some reason) and if you don't like that - you can simply stop playing this game and do something else instead, like LARP, with specific rules that fit your preference.

This won't really solve your problems since there are people who just equip their characters with those "modern" outfits instead of glamouring them over other outfits.

2. add more npc's to the world that wear this glams/gear.

A lot of NPCs already wear "modern" looking outfits. Sure they can add more, but the existing ones are sufficient in my opinion.

i did not see 1 that equip their characters with those "modern" outfits instead of glamouring them over other outfits. don't say they are not out there just that i did not see them.
people bring the "A lot of NPCs already wear "modern" looking outfits". name some of the normal standing in city npc's, not the one that part of the story.

I don't see how modern clothes is immersion breaking since I am still a cat girl walking around and seeing other races around as well. The more choice the better. Why shouldn't we have modern clothes.

Modern clothing does not break lore because we have some modern/sci-fi tech in many areas (like garlean magitek or the allagan stuff). Stuff like the froggy suit could be seen as immersion breaking but I think we need to consider that the last easter event had kann-e senna going around in a the chicken suit and the world isnt just bleak 24/7.

Anyone claiming that modern clothing is immersion breaking is just crying because they came to 14 expecting a pure high fantasy game and for the main game and the first two expansions it certainly presents itself at that outside of Allagan and Garlean stuff, but now that we're seeing more and more modern shit that shows exactly how advanced Hydaelyn as a setting is overall people are crying that it's immersion breaking. I'm sorry you feel that way, but if the tech to make a fucking mech straight out of Gundam or Voltron exists then a pair of jeans are not that out of place.
