Arguing about what defines a good or bad Player is completely pointless and even more so, getting upset about it.
Every Person holds a different opinion on what makes someone a good/bad player.
Personally, i would call someone a bad player already when he gets hit by the swing attack from the Kyklops in Anamnesis Anyder, because if you paid attention to the Game's attack patterns, you would know that every enemy in this game that performs a swing attack, it will always be a circle aoe with the NPC at its center.
But at the end of the day, does it really matter that much of what others think of you? It's not like youre never going to find a party again in this game just because you may or may not have messed something up.
That's my two cents on the matter at least.
This is like saying a major league baseball player isn't bad if he has a .180 batting average because bad is subjective.Arguing about what defines a good or bad Player is completely pointless and even more so, getting upset about it.

We all know if someone is performing terribly we just don't say anything because of feels and the possibility of getting banned.
I agree. Good thing this type of behavior is quite uncommon in FFXIV. Chances are, you won't see it again for a long, long time.
It's like that jerk who cuts you off on the freeway. Does it suck? Yeah it does. But, does it warrant more than a moment of frustration? Nope. It happens rarely; virtually never if you count all the cars that pass you without cutting you off.
So, I appreciate the sentiment, and I know you're probably just venting, but don't worry about this too much.
This, quite unfortunately, includes allowing rude or mean people to be rude or mean. Your idea of enjoying the game, however pure and positive it may be, isn't the end-all-be-all for every player. If we are going to preach the idea of everyone enjoying the game the way they want to, we must include those whose ideas of "fun gameplay" differ vastly from ours. It is what it is. There's never going to be any group of anything on Earth where all of the participants enjoy some recreational activity exactly the same as the next person does.Get off your high horse and let players enjoy the game the way they want to.
The best we can do as individuals is either ignore the behavior, or report it if it crosses the line of acceptable behavior in the game. Beyond that, we may preach positivity, but the folks who are acting out on their internal pain aren't going to change because some random person on video game forums told them not to. Our efforts are better spent elsewhere; those people need real-world help from family, friends or professionals.

well this is the big problem of ff14 community over all. people really will tell you that you are bad. its need to be done much more. yes until you are good you are bad. we all starting bad. in place of getting all cry baby over all try asking what you are doing wrong. try to improve and over some time you start being good. the community in this game better carry a total noob in level 80 dungeon that talk to him.
