When Garuda reaches the point in her battle script where she summons large numbers of razor plumes prior to Aerial Blast, she is unable to transition into Aerial Blast and subsequent phases for a large period of time. Unfortunately, this is more than enough time to defeat Garuda if a party stacks heavy burst DPS (BLMs). This has become the most prevalent strategy because it allows groups to ignore literally every single mechanic of the battle.
  • Razor Plumes in the first phase do not need to be defeated because their damage to the rock pillars does not matter if Garuda does not Aerial Blast.
  • The "west winds" and "south winds" battle phases are never faced.
  • The Garuda clones "Suprana" and "Chirada" are never faced.
  • Razor Plume/Satin Plume spawns after Aerial Blast are never faced.
  • Positioning of Garuda and party members to avoid Slipstream hitting the rest of the party is never an issue.

Garuda's battle script must be fixed so that she will immediately perform Aerial Blast at a certain HP threshold even if she has begun spawning razor plumes. Ifrit does this so that Hellfire and the post-Hellfire phase cannot be skipped. The same solution is needed here.
