As title states, I was at 29million gil when i entered the goblet to try buying a house, i realized after someone bought it and i was teleporting away that i only had 87 thousand. So in the 2 or so hours, 29million gil just up and vanished, i went through chat logs and i didnt initiate any trades or anything, just gone into thin air...

I heard the best way of making gil is to move an estate to a placard where people are mindlessly clicking (or worse, botting!) and drop a retainer with a full inventory of Coke priced at 1 million gil each.

Did this happen here? No idea, but the symptoms track. You might consider looking into your purchase history.

It's actually becoming part of a scam where people will relocate to an empty plot to do just that and sell stuff to auto clickers by placing a retainer next to the placard.

The housing market has turned into a real joke especially on Balmung. I have a friend there trying to get a house and the use of transfers is simply sad. People transfer in and out of plots continually with some even saying they transferred by mistake.

Relocating to place a retainer to capture auto clickers and take their gil is happening and I would consider it a scam when the relocation is done simply for that purpose.

Does is still count as a scam when you take money from people who use a bot?
It doesn't harm the honest people and let the bot user's think twice of they want to take that risk.

Well one can say they got what they deserved for sure but it does hurt those trying to buy a house when transfers take away the house from people who have been there for hours honestly clicking. Transfers need to be fixed with a major cooldown added to when they can do it again. It's really become a joke when someone can transfer in fleece the auto clicker/s cause some plots have more than one and then say I transferred by mistake and transfer back to their original plot.

I'm all for discords but honestly it's become way to easy to find out where houses are available and when prime time is and to then use this as a means to make money.
