Looking For Free Company-New to FF14 but not to MMO's

Hey there. I'm a 54 PLD/SAM just started on the game about a week ago. I'm super keen to learn more and become involved in the community. Haven't fallen in love with a game this hard for ages.

I'm Australian East Coast so if any Aussie FC's are looking please don't hesitate to get in contact. I'm new to all this but will soak up knowledge like a sponge.

I hate to reply to my own thread, but if any free companies can give me advice on how to make myself more attractive/better suited to a free company im all ears. I genuinely want to learn and pay my dues within a good group of people. Also if this is the wrong way to go about this im sorry, there doesn't seem to be any tool in game and no world channels for general chat like in other mmo's i've played so im kinda lost as to how to become more social within this community.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, i've joined a few discords and will try to make some friends organically. I'm not going to rush it, i just hope i get the shance to play with ore of the people in this game soon.
