Isekai + Fantasia?

As your character is if you logged in right now. Would you Fantasia to your RL gender, to a different race, mess with the height or bust sliders, etc knowing you would have to live in that body from the moment you logged into the game. For all intents and purposes your new physical body would be the form your character is in the second you log into the server which would, from that point on, be your Real World. You would be eating, sleeping, and living in a living and breathing FFXIV forever with no possible return to our reality here on Earth.

Would you truly be ok living as a female Mi'quote for the rest of your living days or would you Fantasia into a Hyur that most closely resembles your current real-life body?

It'd take some time for me to get used to being below 3 feet tall, but I could deal with it. I'd definitely have to change clothes, not gonna be running around in what is essentially a dress like my character does.

- Housing has too many restrictions

The big question noone is asking is do we get to use the game mechs like switching jobs on the fly and everything? Like would I be a badass astro or am I just in the game looking like my character? Also Would we be stuck within the limits of the game or is this like real life but now in FFXIV? As a comic book artist you're making me plot out an actual story I might write lol.

Your character would be as it is now; classes, gear, money, all of it. With so many of us "going into the game" we couldn't all be the WoL, so I'd say no, you'd just be a regular adventurer to start with.

Personally, I'd likely stop adventuring as a "Career" and spend the rest of my days living off the money I've got and crafting things for people, with perhaps some time spent helping the Wood Wailers or Twin Adders here and there.

As far as housing; you'd be in a living, breathing, Eorzea without the arbitrary limits to the number of houses available to us now. The option to buy land and build a house on it would be available to everyone with the means to do so. Personally, I'd be much more tempted to get an apartment/condo or an FC house room. I'm not a big fan of taking care of a yard and such in real life, LOL. A nice Small House sized condo would be ideal.

I'd be okay being married to my bf, and having a comfy house to live in, having bunny ears might be strange at first, but why not? Also Eorzea with all it's problems seems like a better place for having a future than Earth, and that's saying something.

I love FFXIV as a game.

If I had to live int hat world I would be kicking and screaming and begging to any gods listening to send me back. I would never want to live in Eorzea even if I could fantasia to choose my appearance.
