    White Scrips

    Hello all,

Returnee here; after spending the past couple of weekends focusing on my DoL and DoH, I've finally got all of them from the mid 50s to past 70. I'm now looking at the White Scrip grind and am wondering what you all consider the best way to go about that. I've currently got an 80 BTN and CUL, so Rarified Lemonade is doable.

On a related note; is it worth using my Leve backlog to level or make Gil? Getting the materials to bang out coffee biscuits for the turn-ins is easy and would net a lot of money that would be useful for buying materials for Collectibles.

I'd appreciate your thoughts and experience.

Rarefied Lemonade is probably one of the most efficient collectibles for scrip grinds and spamming Coffee Biscuit leves is a common method of earning extra gil. So both of those are good ideas.

Thank you. I'm glad to see I'm not a total bonehead.

For every DoH, there's only 1 collectable item that gives White Scrips. So if you only have CUL as lv 80 DoH, you actually don't have a choice. The Rarified Lemonade is all you got for earning Crafters' White Scrips.

    - You can see from this pic that only 1 item per DoH class gives White Scrips.

You do have your weekly Custom Delivery though, which gives FREE White and Yellow Scrips. If White is what you're after, you should go after Kai-Shirr, Ehll Tou and Charlemend, as these 3 gives the most White Scrips.

As I have just finished re-vamping my crafting guide, I'd like to suggest it to you. Especially Ch17: Yellow Scrips & White Scrips and Ch18: Custom Delivery:

    Thanks Caimie,

While I've got you here, what's the benefit of doing the Facet quests? I just finished the Cul/Alc stuff and am not seeing anything else after that. Are they just a short-story means to getting some quick XP and/or the equivalent of class/role quests?

    Thank you

Effectively yes. They're the replacement for the class quests post-70 and offer a decent amount of XP/yellow scrip but are not repeatable.

If you complete the quests for all 5 Facets, there's a final combined quest to wrap up the Crystalline Mean story and unlock some lighting furnishings at the scrip vendors.

Don't forget that there are 7 custom delivery npcs scattered about the world and you can do a total of 12 custom deliveries each week that will get you a metric ton of yellow scrips and about 1200 +/- white scrips with bonuses plus exp. They are quick, easy, cheap and fast.

    Jojoya had your question answered

I did mine only after I became all-80 anyway. I didn't feel much about wasting all that EXP. I was merely going after the stories. They were quite interesting. If I remember correctly, I used all those extra yellow scrips to buy materia. Tier V Cunning Materia are quite in high demand, and its price usually fluctuate between 7K to 15K.
