Currently there are purchasable options for skipping all MSQ through the end of a given expansion. However, I'd like to see an item added that could be purchased to just complete/skip a single MSQ.
I imagine this feature could work one of two ways:
1) Token purchased by a specified character
In this case, the character would be mailed invoked items that will provide a prompt to select currently active MSQ (assuming more than one active) to be skipped.
2) Token purchased for account
Purchasing this way would add to an account "currency" (similarly to purchased retainer counter) and the player could then go to a specific NPC using any of their alts and select active MSQ to skip via NPC interaction.
In both cases, the quest would be flagged completed and removed from quest log and allowing the next quest in chain to be available to accept. Additionally, completing/skipping quest in this manner would forfeit any experience/gil/items (other than key items) which would have been rewarded from the quest. Any cutscenes which should have been encountered during the quest would not be shown, but would be added to Unending Journey as usual.

For myself at least, I'd gladly pay a dollar or two each for a token that could let me skip specifically the quests that require dungeon runs to complete. I personally am more of a solo player that especially prefers to do storyline things solo. For me, partying is more about goofing off with some friends and maybe going and challenging ourselves. Not a big fan of having to pause my progression till I can link up with friends or with hooking up with random people who are frequently in a super rush to finish the instance and leave me more or less at a loss for what just happened other than "killed stuff with cutscenes mixed in." (And then there's the groups that continue on with things while you're in a cutscene so you either end up not participating in chunks of the content - or skipping the scenes to watch later so you can participate.) Just...would like a way to skip mandatory dungeon-crawling.
I'm aware that may not be a particularly widespread point of view, but I also believe that there are likely enough people out there that would appreciate this option to make it worthwhile to consider.
I would like to hear others' thoughts on this.
