Server change (im)possibility?

A friend of mine, Gungnir Ivaldi, is thinking of taking advantage of the welcome back campaign, but his character was inactive for the past few months and somehow managed to get put on a different server as I'm on. I've looked for the past hour for the possibility of a server change, free or not, so that's my question guys. Can my friend change servers?

I think SE should try to accommodate this and try to place them on the server they wish to be on, its not much of welcome back if the first thing you do is upset your customer lol.

With you thinking it would be ok for SE to delete their character completely just because they left they game, oh wait they used to do that in FF11.

It was impossible for me, according to support and in game GM's. Support is awful right now, been trying for 2 weeks with a similar issue. They'll just tell you to contact one another until your eyes bleed.

The gm's told me twice that they do not handle these issues, and to contact support.

i said "IF" there low level.

if they delete there characters they have everyright to do so its Square's IP not yours mine or anyone else. and you said ok to it when you made your account the terms of service say no explanation need for them to do what ever they want want. SE is atleast doing good business and asking the community what should happen to the game & allowing people to come back without having to make a new character.

Hrmmm, my friend said he'll look into it in May when the campaign starts. He said he's already angry with them and he hasn't even started downloading all the patches yet haha. It makes sense to allow people to change their server upon reactivating their accounts though

We both had a similar problem when we bought Demon souls 2 (Dark souls) and the producers decided to make it impossible to duo with friends so we returned the game.
