Mouse/Keyboard vs. Controller: Your Thoughts

Man this thread remind of me people from the FGC(Fighting Game Community) Telling people @ one point your holding your self back using a controller then they proceeded to loose to the person who plays on pad =/

Wait a moment... playing a fighting game on a keyboard? Am I getting this right?

Of all the games a keyboard/mouse enhances, I would never even consider playing a "fighting game" with a keyboard/mouse.

I believe the arguments then were joystick vs. gamepad
Edit: I know that's what they were, I mean I believe that's what Firon was driving at.
