    New Limitbreaks

    3 Limit breaks meters added to the game

    New Limitbreak bar would look quite different then old one .
    Limitbreaks as a whole. change drastically outside the dps ones
    Tank/healer- Limitbreak - will charges by rewarding good gameplay
    Physical/Ranged DPS (old limitbreak) this one charges for good gameplay
    Caster DPS (charges the fastest) deals great aoe damage you probably pull 3 of these in single run
    do we even need limitbreaks 1 and 2. hell keeping limitbreak 3 as the only limitbreak would be better. wouldnt have to be in 8 man raid to have use them however

    Problem with current limitbreak system is only really good ones are melee or ranged dps. caster ones are nice. but wouldn't use them bosses. and healer and tanks kinda rubbish. ya really outdated

    so how do suggest we fix this problem limit breaking as whole is very fun system. not everyone gets to enjoy am patron for having fun. so lets give limitbreak system another look at

    It would have been neat if individual players has their own personal Limit Break bar -- even outside of group content. But, I don't think the current system will ever change. For example, there are boss fights where it's actually required for the Tank to use LB or else the group wipes.

    By the way, what is "good gameplay" and how is the game supposed to recognize it?

    Honestly those should be just changed to duty ability, tank LB is 99% of the time useless.

    Imo the Limit Breaks are cool because we rarely get to use them.
    If we all had them and got to use them everytime then it'd just be another big channeled ( an especially long one ) ability.
    I think it'd stop feeling cool after a while, the infrequency is part of what makes it feel awesome when you get to use it.

    Players do have their own individual Limit Break bar. They're called Job Gauges, and they reward each job with damage, healing, or reduced damage for proper mechanical play. What you're suggesting, a separate gauge for extra damage/healing/mitigation is obviated by the job gauge. You're literally asking for another button that, in essence, is just another cooldown.

    Healer lb 1 and 2 aren't great sure, healer LB 3 however is fantastic and has saved many a group from wiping. Unless you just don't like the idea of raising a mostly dead party quickly from a balance perspective or something.

    All three caster LBs need to reanimated at least so as not to be blinding to anyone in melee range. Red mage is by far the worst offender here, but all three of them do this.

    Not sure if it's possible as well, but would be good for DPS limit breaks to all do a set potency of damage, but if for ranged and casters, if it hits multiple targets, that damage is equally split, making the limit break viable against a single target regardless of which DPS uses it.

    What really needs to happen is that Battle Effects settings needs to be tweaked so that Show None actually means show none. If I have Others set to show none, why in God's green Earth does it still show other alliance's field effects and limit breaks? The amount of times I've stood in another alliance's Asylum or Sacred Soil wondering why I'm not actually regenerating health is too high to count.

    Field effects are probably due to ground AoEs, so you don't unknowingly pull mobs out of another party's stuff in alliance raids.
