    MAC: "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting final fantasy xiv.(15)"

    I am running ffxiv on an imac, retina 5k, 27-inch, 2017 running os 10.13.6.
    Once I get to the character selection screen, the game freezes then crashes and I get error code "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting final fantasy xiv.(15)"

    Any ideas?

    Additional information: At the default settings, I can load my baby alt that's on Primal, Ultros. I can't load my main character that's on Aether, Faerie. Is there an 'Im stuck" button to retrieve my character on Aether/Faerie?
