Would like more info on a warning received

I recently received a warning through email about breaking the code of conduct for language but i honestly don't remember saying anything worth receiving this warning. I sent in a ticket though support and they apparently can't tell me anything about it and told me to come post here. All i want to know is what i said that was so bad that i was reported and warned for, i don't want to know names or anything JUST WHAT I TYPED, so i know what i said that crossed the line to ensure that i don't do it again.

If any GM can message me please and is able to help it would be appreciated

    Thank you

The reason they don’t tell you what you typed is because they know someone will use that information to figure out who reported them, or at the very least narrow it down.

Make sure to stay cordial in chat - you will never receive a report if all you say is “gg! tyfp” or “oops, my bad” or language such as “please remember…” “can you please do X next time?”

There’s likely going to be someone who will respond to this thread telling you to never speak in game. Don’t listen to them. It’s very hard to get a report - just make sure not to curse and not to vocalize anger at another player, and you’ll be fine.

The above is correct, but that being said, if you're in Europe, you can still request this information by specifically making a "subject access request" under GDPR.

If you do that then SE have to give you the information requested within 30 days, even if their normal policies wouldn't allow it (because what you said is specifically about you).

It also doesn't matter that they're a Japanese country, they operate within Europe so they still have to follow GDPR rules.

If you're outside of Europe though this won't apply, sorry.

Well thanks for the info i guess, i just find it personally beyond stupid that they can warn me but then not tell me what i did wrong specifically so i know what its "crossing the line". Just imagine getting pulled over by the police and he just walks up and gives you a summons to court and walks away, you ask him what is this for and what have i done and he just says "oh you know what you did" and gets back in his car and drives off leaving you confused and not knowing what you can and can't do that will get you into trouble.
