Favorite scenery suggestions.

I'm going to do my usual routine before a new expansion and change my characters race. Saying goodbye to my Viera (for now) and creating a race/gender I have not played before. I'm going Midlander and am going to mimic the forgotten female warrior of light.

Before I say goodbye, I want to use the group pose feature and take some nice screenshots. What are some of everyone's favorite places? is there a special spot that is beautiful to you? I haven't tried explorations yet, so I'm open to those suggestions.

Right now, it's hard to beat the sunset in Limsa but after all this time I'm sure there's places I've forgotten about or haven't discovered yet!

Il Mheg & the Sea of Clouds can be quite pretty for shots, under the right weather conditions. I also like night into dawn over Ishgard, from the vista point at Whitebrim Front when it's clear and starry (this game has beautiful night time skies) - that's for the actual scenery, not my character, but it could be possible to make it work with the additional lighting settings.

at night you get nice water reflections with the lights and there are fireflies (they are just a screen glow effect though, I think)

I personally post a picture in a self-only server on Discord, and right click > Copy Link. Then here, I Go Advanced > select the IMG option in the toolbar. It'll give you space to post an image link, and there I paste the image address I got from Discord. Remember to remove the "https://" in your Discord link at the beginning. Should work.

The Burning Wall in Eastern Thanalan has some nice vistas.

If you're looking for a foresty area, I'll always recommend the Western side of East La Noscea. It's one of the older zones but it has a really nice almost jungle like feel with the strange plants and shallow rivers, and the way the flora glows at night can be spectacular even now.

There are some really pretty views in Lakeland and even More Dhona if you check out the crystal areas. I'm also a fan of some of the views you can get in the Nier raids, but that's got a certain vibe to it.

Some of the dungeons and other raids are really pretty too but I don't remember which work with explorer mode. Been a while since I went around looking for screenshots. Got some good ones in Amaurot (the city) and Akadaemia Anyder though.
