I just wanted to say I am enjoying this quest line emensely. I hope others do too. It reminds me of the old tv show 'Get Smart'. I had a few chuckles already. Nicely done SE!
Are there any other quest lines like this in game?

Enjoy Life you only get one.
If you like Hildibrand, one of the characters that shows up in Hildy's adventures (Inspector Briardien) is involved in the Scholasaite quests in Ishgard, but those require you to have finished HW's storyline first (and are far more serious in tone than the irreverence of Hildibrand - it appears SE were planning on replacing Hildibrand's quests with the Scholasiate, but that never happened). Briardien also appears briefly during the initial set of cutscenes to unlock the Firmament reconstruction quests (where he hints at the Hildibrand quests insanity).
Another quest line with humour a lot of the time are the Postmoogle quests as they go into the backgrounds of many npcs, and some are quite funny.
Was kind of disappointed we didn't get one of these story lines in Shadowbringers.
Thanks for the info, yes I am playing through a second job now so I am taking in all the side quests I didn't take in when I did the MSQ. I hope they bring back Inspector Hildibrand it's so refreshing to just laugh at him and the sillyness. Last from the Devs is they are indeed planning to bring back Hildy in 6.0.
Also, there is a dungeon in 5.0 you have a chance to randomly see him. It's just an easter egg, but it's fun nonetheless. Not going to spoil it, but it's the last dungeon in the 5.x series on the First.
Happy inspecting, inspector!
I found the Hildebrand quests a very relaxing, amusing highpoint, and I missed him on the First too, you'd think with his last sighting, it would be perfect for him to be there
Unfortunately the writers said they were a bit burnt out of ideas when it came to ShB Hildy and decided not to do one this time around. The past couple of ones didn't feel like they lived up to the OG ARR Hildy quests so I hope skipping an expansion gives us better ones than the past few.
As it happens, the postmoogle quests are required doing in order to do the Hildi line.If you like Hildibrand, one of the characters that shows up in Hildy's adventures (Inspector Briardien) is involved in the Scholasaite quests in Ishgard, but those require you to have finished HW's storyline first (and are far more serious in tone than the irreverence of Hildibrand - it appears SE were planning on replacing Hildibrand's quests with the Scholasiate, but that never happened). Kaplan Zereort, the Forever Penniless
Meredith Cross, the BunBun Tank
Himeko Murata, the PantslessHealerGreen DPS
No they arent, as I did the entire Hildy questlines, then did the postmoogle later.
So, no.
