I've seen repeated in a lot of opinions on the subject that anything level 50 under the command mission options are trash for leveling and are inferior to actually running Aurum Vale from 47-53 (if one were to solely use squads to level in this bracket, which I intend to). The argument usually cites that these are "former level cap" dungeons and not "leveling dungeons" and so the XP just isn't there.

But, as a counterpoint: Most of the XP in command missions seems to come from kill XP, whether it's the trash or the bigger chunks from bosses, as these are augmented by things that augment kill XP.

So, please explain to me, if the truth is truly "aurum vale is better" than say, wanderer's palace normal (Pharos sirius' bird fight is just straight busted for squads, doable but not worth the hassle), how is "killing 47th level monsters at level 48" more XP than "killing level 50 monsters at level 50?"

There's clearly something I'm missing here for so many people to claim that level 50 command missions are so very bad for XP. What is it that I am not factoring in here?
