    Keep the gears classes only, Would love to see classes uses more often and prove to others that they can beat jobs just as easy because there are so many baddies out there that still fulltime AF.

    I agree with this. The fact that they're giving classes exclusive gear makes me happy that the dev team isn't ignoring them.

    Also Jobs are getting AF weapons in 1.22a.

    I agree. Classes and Jobs attempting to coexist will just lead to even bigger headaches trying to balance everything.

    I'm not so much concerned with the gear being able to be used by jobs, rather I want to see classes actually have some form of usefulness to justify their own sets of difficult to obtain gear. Why should people bother to get gear for say a Pugilist when a Monk can solo just as well, if not better?

    Not a perfect example, but I've always had a much easier time soloing on Monk over Pugilist simply because of the sheer amount of raw power Monk has over it's predecessor. Having access to a weak cure and stoneskin doesn't really help much in the grand scheme of things.

    I'm not saying all classes are useless now, but when played properly there's quite a few jobs that outshine their predecessors by incredible amounts.

    Warrior is another glaringly obvious one. I'd like to see a Marauder do this or this.

    You give me a video of a Marauder doing that and having an easier time, and I'll believe you that it's better for soloing than it's Job.

    This makes the most sense. Maybe with a level cap increase the classes won't go beyond Lv.50. Like some people have said it's going to be more and more difficult to keep classes and jobs similar and different at the same time. It's like having two jobs do virtually the same thing. You wouldn't add the Black Belt job when the game already has MNK. Things get repetitive. I would rather have SE worrying about creating many varied and unique jobs, than trying think how it will work as a job and a class.

    I still say only idiots think jobs solo better than classes, except for whm. MNK sucks dick at soloing shit that matters have to take to many breaks, switched to pgl went full steam for 2 hrs. I like my classes so leave them alone. Having SS,protect, sangerite,cure, bloodbath and other things help so much. Feels like nothing can stop you.

    We were having a bit of a discussion about this very topic in mumble yesterday. The discussion ended when we some what agreed on the notion that in certain low man situations the flexibility of classes might be better suited to some tasks. And in those cases its nice to have access to some pretty potent equipment such as the new cse.
