I mean based upon the FBI's own stats, long gun crime is a miniscule amount of total gun and violent crime. Handgun make up the bulk of gun crime, but yet Awha got profiled for having long gun. Furthermore, you are much more likely to be acted up violently by many other means before firearms in the US.

This is an old, essentially fabricated statistic.

The guy who produced that 'study' counted military bases as gun-free zones, and created his own definition of 'mass-shooting' so that he could get the result that suited him best politically.

Shootings in gun-free zones actually constitute the vast minority of gun crimes.

You do know military personnel are not allowed to carry guns on base, right?
