This is not kids being with kids and doing naughty makeout RP. This is adults promoting sex, often with heavy fetishes, in a space where children are.
Children should never, ever be put in a sexual situation with or by an adult regardless of who started it. Nor should they be exposed to explicitly sexual content in media that is specifically rated for their age group.

This game is not rated for adults. It is made as an all-ages game and should be treated as such.

Also, nice admitting that you turn a blind eye to paedophiles. As if people who make CP with game assets/art/writing don't partake in real stuff... Just the fact that they do that at all, real or not, is indictive of a very serious problem. To believe otherwise is ignorance or stupidity.

The ONLY POINT in this thread that is valid is ERPers/Modders putting it on blast and bringing attention to it. The morality of NSFW content pertaining to FF14 is not in question and will never be- regardless of how many people it triggers.

I can't help but feel bad for her. She basically sold out her own community for 5mins of fame. I can only imagine how much hate she's getting, calling out the whole erp/nsfw community with 60k+ people watching and highlighted a bunch of times on youtube.

Yea, this is very unfortunate :x but actions have consequences. It was VERY stupid to shine a huge spot light on the erp/nsfw community- maybe they though they were doing the community a service but as we can see from this thread, people are way too soft.

The hate they receive is necessary; as someone who enjoys general nsfw content of the games I play, the last thing I want is for normies and haters to stifle creativity.

Coomerism breeds groomerism. Game is absolutely filled to the brim with predators, and an extremely disproportionate amount of them originate unsurprisingly from the ERP/Modding scene. With people joining the game explicitly for the erp/modding scene, we will only see more and more of these types of people.

Also, like half the time I see someones gross mods is because some socially inept coomer decides the non-nsfw screenshots channel of one of my raiding discords is a great place to share their latest 'photoshoot'. The ERPers that enter my community basically never understand what boundaries are, never have a filter, and I always end up getting DMs about how people are getting creeped out or creeped on by them.

Sounds like your raiding discord needs better moderation. Hate to break it to you but losers and socially inept people exist everywhere (horny or not). Your anecdotes do no service to this thread.
