I am really curious where this idea started from. Because there are a lot of ways Square Enix could implement to check for mods that wouldn't require to install a spyware.And for those of you unclear, unless you are all willing to put spy ware on your pc for a product you paid for (spyware that acts more like a virus than a spyware) there is little than can be done aside from them denouncing modding as they have done before. And i doubt anyone who mods final fantasy is making enough money to live off of. So maybe take things from some random streamer with a grain of salt. They dont have to be honest with anything they present to you. They arent regulated
