So this thread keeps getting crazy, so to attempt to reign it back to the original point let's agree that any modification that deals with such things is at the very least bad PR for square and at worst a grey/illegal area depending on the country. We can all see how this is a bad look for both SE and the people that are just trying to play the game normally. They just need to implement a file check on start up and modding would be dead in the water.

I mean based upon the FBI's own stats, long gun crime is a miniscule amount of total gun and violent crime. Handgun make up the bulk of gun crime, but yet Awha got profiled for having long gun. Furthermore, you are much more likely to be acted up violently by many other means before firearms in the US.
