MMO Player Looking for Social LS's

Hey Hyperion!

I'm new to FFXIV and am pleasantly surprised at the progress of the game since BETA, which I played for about a week. Currently, I'm just leveling different classes, to play around with the mechanics, as well as doing some behests, quests, and the like.

It's about time I start seriously leveling a couple of classes. I've chosen Archery and Conjuror. I've always healed in MMOs and would like to continue. That being said, I'm looking for a few linkshells/friends to ask on-the-fly questions as well as progress into the 20s and beyond.

As I get into the higher levels, I'd like to get into some grouping, as that is the point of MMOs, right? I have no intention of soloing all the way to 50, if it can be avoided, so I'd also like to find some people to group with.

I'm currently in Gridania, but have been exploring by foot and getting the teleport crystals along the way. I'm happy to travel to another city to do some grouping/dungeons/etc... Whisper in game.

I'm over in Ul'Dah, and running across Thanalan and the Black Shroud doesn't sound like a good time... sorry
