Just finished Bozja Weapon. How to start next one?

So I just completed my bozja resistance 535 weapon 100%. I want to start working on my next classes weapon now. I have been told lots of conflicting advice ranging from: 'you dont have to do all the steps again. you can just jump to the end' to 'you have to start over completely'.

Could someone please explain to me clearly how I actually get my next 535 weapon? Ive googled it, but every page is so outdated they dont even talk about 535

When you want do do a new weapon, you'll need 4 of the thavnarian scalepowers (1000 poetics total) and then you talk to the dude you've been getting all the relic quests from

Start with the bottom most of the quests to start the next relic.

The only phases you won't have for your second and beyond relic are the one time steps like having to gather 180 items.

So while you don't have to do all the quests, you'll have to do the majority of them, but it's much easier after the first relic.

And to add, the Thavnarian Scalepowder you need is not from inside Gangos. You need to go to the relic weapon traders in Mor Dhona to buy it (with, as above, 4x250 Poetics)

You can even do multiple relic weapons that are on different steps.

You don't skip all of it, you just skip some of it which were one-off quests like farming stormblood content, the 30 of each item quests and progressing through bozja and zadnor.

It's best to have multiple weapons on the go, as some content (mainly Bozja/Zadnor mobs and skirmishes) drop items needed for multiple stages, so you're wasting time if you only have one quest active at a time.
Have a weapon at every single stage of the questline, and you'll be getting items for every single stage at once.
Basically, you should have started your 2nd weapon when you got your first weapon to 2nd stage.
