PS4 support will likely die with Endwalker. Consoles always hold things back eventually.

That's because a console has one specific design, while "PC" is not one thing but a massive span of old and new hardware. If the game stops supporting old PCs below a certain threshold, it's not obvious in the same way that "PS3 is no longer supported".
