Increasing number of players using 3rd party tools

Just dont want this game to turn into a bloated plugin addon game like WoW.

It's already there sadly. I know many have reported streamers for using these in their streams-- right there plain as day for all to see, but Square Enix did nothing. It's frustrating because Yoshi P's team clearly stated that it is against TOS. Does it bully people? No. Does it give them certain advantages with information? Yes. Is it going back on its word by not following through? Absolutely.

I have disabilities and could benefit from some of the mods which will help me see better, might have been able to have kept up with able-bodied gamers, but... I CHOOSE NOT TO USE THIRD PARTY TOOLS BECAUSE I'M CHOOSING TO OBEY THE TOS.

I left WOW after 15 years because it turned into a toxic cesspool focused on appealing to the streamers and high-end gamers, made it so that numbers, stats, gil, and money mattered more than people, community, and fair play. People see it. They aren't happy about it, and they make excuses or they chuck it up to the influx of WOW gamers and think it is only a matter of time. I feel the same way; I'm worried that not learning from history, they're doomed to see it repeat itself.

I wish Square Enix would put their foot down and say "When we said no third party mods, we meant it" and take action. If you're caught (streams, screenprints, etc) using these after midnight on this (reasonably soon) date, your account will be permanently suspended. I'm thinking "honor" is just a word tossed around for theme and costumes, that it doesn't mean anything anymore, and that's a shame because I'd prefer not to walk away from this one too.
