Anyone having a problem with the Small races now showing up on screen?

I am doing "Arms Race" and Raaka Maaka isn't showing up on screen, same thing with Culture Shock with the Merchants. Anyone know what's wrong?

Sorry I couldn't think of their names, so sorry if I offended anyone. The race is called the Lalafell and for some reason they are not showing up on screen. It's kind of annoying since I had hoped to finished the quests needed to get my own chocobo.

Lalafell are meant to be heard, not seen. They're also suitable for food and punting.



Its probably a game engine issue. There's a limit to how many characters are on screen at once so someone could be standing next to you and you might not see them.

It's not just npcs...This apperently happened during an exp party I was in awhile ago but I can't confirm if it was actually happening. For whatever reason someone in the party couldn't see or target the lala dragoon who was in the party as well. He just changed gear and *poof* gone. I could see him just fine so not sure what was really going on

Was the person able to see the Lalafell dragoon eventually? I still can't see the Lalafell, I've tried relogging and playing the game at different graphics settings. None of the Lalafell NPC's are loading and I don't think I can see the PC Lalafell either...or atleast I haven't seen any so far.

It's kind of weird but frustrating too because I can't finish the quests I need to be able to get my chocobo...I guess I can't wait a few days till 1.22a....

Nah, even after a gear change he still couldn't see him. Never bothered to relog since he had no actual reason to be targetting party members to begin with. To have this happen in an area with a lot of people would be understandable but we were out at the wolf camp in Natalan and it was before 1.22 went live

server lag increased on this patch. lucky we have a few more months of this.
it takes longer to transfer items & there breif pauses during other stuff once again.
