the 200 people i see gathered out here on balmung says its still fun to alot of people even with lower drop rates

I actually think the battle is fun, its just kinda of difficult and we all know how people are with stuff that is challenging in this game..

That's muds and MMOs of the 90s, this is 2012, doing something for fun is an archaic concept. Though I noticed people are trying to form a very specific set up for these battles now lol, seen a few PLDs getting turned down.

We tried it and didn't come close the NPC's are just too weak and dumb lol

the drops are the bone in mmo's since the begining....

I'm just curious what your guys opinion on gathers and crafters getting enmity is ?

Do you think it could do with a bit more fine tuning or is it about right ?

I would like to see a better way for DoL and DoH to shed hate, I'm considering stocking up on nerve drops mind so maybe that's a solution.

I would have liked to see gatherers being able to use stealth but the mobs are obviously too high

the crafter/gatherer can run the mobs he has back to the lines of defense that are sitting around twiddling there thumbs.

the npc's can stand against a couple mobs, they just fold when they get swarmed.

From my experience its a waste of time because the NPCs are so stupid and slow they don't attack the targets, its just easier to stand with your party and let the WAR AoE aggro them.

It would just be nice if DoL/DoH could be a bit self sufficient, especially considering normally they aren't even standing with the rest of the battle members.

You do yea, hopefully in future they will add lower level versions.
