Hello there !

As we know Events gather people around and always new event = fun and something new, interesting to do so which is good to keep them (players) interested.
So we all know that a lot of new players are coming to game (myself included) is there any chance for events such as Garo or FF15 to show up again ?
I understand that Garo might be a promoting stuff so it won't appear but can't at least items which existed during this event be bought via specific vendor ?

Considering the license or contract or whatever they had for Garo expired and they'd have to renew it to be able to put it back in, I highly doubt that one is coming back.

FFXV, however, is coming back next month.

I understand about license etc. but if garo won't come back anymore that doesn't mean items can't right ? They can just add them to golden saucer or create specific vendor. I dunno it's just sad that we (players) can't make use of those anymore (glam purpose for example)

That would depend on the nature of the licensing or contract. Since the event was pretty much just achievements (for the titles and mounts) and a vendor to buy the glams from that sat around for over two years, and the vendor and achievements were only pulled when the contract expired, I suspect that it was pretty much a permission to distribute contract, which if it was, they'd have to renew it to be able to distribute them again. I wouldn't say never, but I don't see it as likely any time soon (if ever), unfortunately. I'd love to see more people able to have a chance at the glams myself, but it just doesn't seem like the odds are very high.

Likely due to the terms in the license agreement the items will likely not be made obtainable without renegotiation. So they can't put them in the GS; but players who got the items can still use them and if they earned the achievements can still get them from the calamity salvager if they throw them away.

The licence was to use the items.

There was never anything to the "event" but the items. I honestly don't know why people even call it an event.

You just did normal game stuff, earned normal game currencies (wolf marks/MGP) and bought items that you'd never even know were part of a crossover collaboration if you weren't aware of the source material.

I'm new but I'm excited for the XV event. I really do wish that XIV can have a other XIII Collab. Like a completely new event, not a rerun
