Yeah, but like... weapons? I don't think anyone's asking for a black mage to be able to wield a sword or a warrior to hit people with a black mage staff but that's usually the argument that gets trotted out against the idea. That or something about class silhouettes that's also basically irrelevant.

If we did get the job gear unlocked as glamour I'd actually use some of it without having to worry about constantly overwriting my tank/caster/crafter glamours, right now the system's too much of a pain to deal with so the only people I've actually ever seen in any artifact gear at all are people using it for the actual statistics (i.e., level 50 players after their level 50 job quest but before they get ironworks gear, level 80 players literally running Amaurot) or the occasional blue mage, but I'd absolutely use some of the past expac sets especially for Paladin or Summoner if they'd just let me, and the current system's especially egregious with crafters to the point where I have literally never seen a crafter AF set in the wild

Some is good. I use the Neo Ish aiming on my dancer and love it. Don't wear pants so I can show off the Thighlander namesake and it's perfect.

There is so much aiming gear that can work for dancer.

Even just looking at current endgame sets, all three crafted sets and the Paglth'an set suit dancer very well and there are plenty of earlier pieces.

For a female character maybe. A male one? Not so much. Most of the aiming gear we've been getting this expansion screams MCH to me, barely even fits BRD in some cases. And when it does fit DNC, it's always the same thing: you're either half-naked or wrapped in an abundance of cloth. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but that's just not the aesthetic I want for my character.

On the other hand there are some things that I can think of that would specifically work better on men – the Infantry shirt, Lakeland coat, Boulevardier shirt and the Dalmascan top*. Maybe others as well, but that's just what comes to mind.

The person you quoted also said they were switching to male Viera come Endwalker, and would be looking at glamour options for male characters. Hence my comment.

I was more focusing on the gear sets you can get in exchange for tomes and tokens or the like. I tend to avoid casual wear as much as possible, and that makes it difficult to come up with glamours for a male DNC, precisely because there are less fitting options as soon as you move away from a casual look.

Doesn't scouting get the same treatment as aiming anyway more often than not? The Penelo outfit from Zadnor? As a DNC main it hurts, it just hurts.
