Yeah! I was kinda sad when Dwarves didn't end up their own race. I'd really like something in between lalas and female Au Ra in size, and dwarves woulda been the best race for it... Now I dunno what could fit. Maybe Genome Monkey people, using proportions from FF9?

Regardless... I dont think we'll be getting any more races, at least for a while. If we do though Im hopefuly for small

Maybe something like a smallish Hyur, with the hunched over posture of Hrothgar and some monkey face fur and tail? Maybe some glow effects too to imitate the trance mode?

Moombas? (sp) I think in FFVIII. I seem to remember them being pretty small though I didn't play that title much.

The last thing FFXIV needs is yet another cat race lmao (moombas, I mean). Realistically these... Lilties seem like the only ones that match the look and proportions of Lalafell enough that they could be based on them, and a plant-like race is also a niche not yet represented in the playable roster

I retract my previous statement, if you compare Lalafell and Genomes side by side their proportions are actually not that different. FFIX's oversized hands and feet aside, Lalafell have slightly shorter legs, but otherwise...

Actually I think the height similarity is due to the difference in art style. FFIX moved away from the style they used on most of their modern games to appear more cartoonish and I think this essentially squished the height on alot of the characters so they appeared to be shorter than they actually are.
