I get that the glow effects on armor aren't everyone's cup of tea (including myself), but to a large extent, it's what keeps Eureka content active to this day - people are there for the weapons, sure, but they're mostly pursuing the sets.

While the Bozjan stuff isn't quite as difficult to acquire, the upgraded (and dyable) items do take a fairly substantial investment of time to assemble. And, as with Eureka with its elemental power, the Bozjan gear only really comes into its own when used in Bozjan content - so while it could be said that the upgraded Eureka sets still have high value for a player who might be working towards other Eureka gear, I'd argue that the Bozjan stuff is going to rapidly lose its lustre for the specific reason that it doesn't glow, and people will be less inclined to grind so substially for 'ordinary' looking sets.

Did they ever make statements to the effect that the Eureka gear was going to be the only glowing armor, or that they were unhappy with it, or something?
