As some people know, we , the players who play in South America we've always had the same problem with many many games, wich is ... high ping, we played wow with 180-220 ms and now we are having the same problem here , more than 200 ms, and it make some mechanics really difficult to dodge because of the delay.
With the resent events of people quitting wow to search for a new home , many of my guild members and even friends wanna join the FFXIV world but the high latency make them think that they gonna pay just to have a not deserved bad experience again wich make them doubt and finally dont give it any chance at all because of that. It is time to all the South American players to unite and ask for servers in our region! I know that we are thousands if not millions of players that play or wanna play FFXIV with low ms and im pretty sure making a server for us is just going to bring even more people to enjoy this fantastic and amazing game, and even those who wont leave wow just to pay another high ms game will of course reconsider and give it a chance, i know some will say that they can play the trial for free, but trust me i played the trial and i ended up buying the expansiosn because of how good this is, and i trust that they will hear us and make that possible, thats why i buyed the game , beside that is something amazing with the best community ive seen so far , i know that people who leads the game develop hear the people. So please, lets make them hear us like the brothers of OC did and lets ask for a South america server ! , sorry if my english is bad and thank you for taking your time to read and would be great if people from other places support us in this thank you so so much and have a good day/night : )

I play with that ping and have no problem. It only affects double weaving and can cause clipping of the GCD.

Mechanics usually have a 3 second cast time so you need to do the mechanic before the cast bar completes, or it will hit you. Using legacy controls with auto-fly disabled can make it a lot quicker to do mechanics. Most mechanics are scripted so you can anticipate that they will happen and move before it begins casting when you have done a fight enough times.
