Hamlet defense: who got curbstomped?

Pretty much sums it up: formed a group in Hyrstmill, we went in, the 1st wave came in, we fought to the death, then the second wave stepped over our bodies, and took everything, lasted a little longer, but stillmore or less the same on round two. Anyone do any better?

This seems like its been a bit overtuned.... Threw a group of warriors at it, the npc archers are completely worthless.

Overtuned? Or underfortified? Remember how in XI people got wtfcurbstomped till they realized doing their walmart turban quest boosted the defense? xD

As in, my first opinion of the hamlet defense is that, for what was seemingly advertised as "everyone can do this" content, it is a bit on the difficult side.

That was my first impression of it atleast. Once people understand how the debuffs work a bit better and get a system down it will probably be much easier, but I don't think I, or the giant piled of about 60 dead bodies that came out of the instance within the first 2 minutes was expecting it to be this difficult.

Everyone can participate =/= everyone can clear the content.

Got totally stomped.

Was too busy looking for NPC's to turn potion into. Giving it a second shot.

I imagine that the effects of DoH and DoL in this battle aren't to be underestimated.
