    Suggestion: item categorization

i hope im not the only one that has like a cluttered armory chest and has trouble sorting it lol. I know if you donate items to the grand company you can hide items equipped on gear sets, that would be lovely for the armory chest. Or only viewing items of the class you are currently using.

only the equipment you can use/equip is lit up in the armory chest, the rest should be dimmer. there is no way to actually have other stuff just not show up at all.

I suggested in the QoL thread that they add something to the Item Tooltip that says if the item was currently being used in a Gearset (like the overlay icon you see in the armoury list). I think that would help here.

Yea the "Exclud gearset" filter in Grand Co turn-ins is great, and the icon overlay in the armoury list is nice. But there are plenty of other ways to see items (like the DESYNTH window) and the Item Tooltip is the only place where you see the details regardless of context.
