Don't remember the PlayOnline launcher having music? Then again when I played FFXI the only times I actually logged in were when the game went down for technical issues or maintenance...

It would be nice. SOE games have had All Access for a long time now that gave access to all SOE games. At first it was just EverQuest and EverQuest II but there are others under the umbrella now. I've been curious about XI but haven't wanted a second sub, so an SE type of All Access would be something I embraced readily.

Depends......If the 20th anniversary is a XI remake (Reach), then I can see them being willing to slash the XI sub, to bundle it with a XIV sub deal.

You really don't want your mmo competing in house (Amazon gets it); which is why I don't see a remake happening. The last time XIV went head to head with XI, the game failed cause XI was vastly popular (Among other things), XI is the granddaddy of SE online games; I don't see any sort of reboot unless they are pretty much done with XIV...which may be waaaaaay off.....)

But I digress, and back to reality.......I can see a bundle sub. It could maybe get folks like me who only play XIV when there are events, to try and make it their regular mmo. Their end goal was always to get people into XIV; which is one of the reasons they halted major updates of XI. A shared sub would be a great way to get XI players into XIV.

Idea deserves a vote up from this XI vet.
