Scrip recipe/gathering books, what order?

Hello all,

Returnee (for the third or fourth time) here. I'm working on getting my DoL and DoH up to speed and have a question about which recipe books to buy in which order. Would it be better to save up and get the ShB books ASAP or is it worth getting the previous expansions' books (and in what order?) when I cap out?

Get current books then work backwards, doesn’t matter particularly which order you get the older books in. To note though there are no gathering books for ARR content, and master craft 1 and 2 books you need to craft specific items in order to get.

The only reason I say get current stuff first is because you’re more likely to actually craft current endgame stuff first but realistically it’s a time consuming, but easy process.

Thank you. I remember getting not-quite-caught-up-enough to start getting the Master books in ARR before HW hit and caused me to forget them. I'm hoping being much higher level now will help get that done easily. Thankfully I've got all DoH jobs working toward 80 so scrips should be fairly easy to get through the process. *crosses fingers*
