Can't install big sad, plz help

My Friends launcher is showing an error that reads as follows "Insufficient memory to install update files. Please confirm there is at least 2549mb of available space on the C Drive"

My friend has tons of space on both storage drives, more than enough to meet this requirement, but it simply won't install.

He is currently uninstalling and re-installing to see if that solves the problem so I will update if that works.

What platform? (Steam/Windows)
Is this the full version of the game or the Free Trial?
Additionally, please provide us with a system report which can be found on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher under 'Config' in the top right corner.

I have dealt with another user on Discord FFXIV Reddit same issues. When the launcher download the game, it doesn't care which drive you pointed it to. That pointed to installation is after it finishes installing everything. But during the download, it actually download into your C drive temp folder and your C drive is out of space no matter what you try.


Either upgrade the drive or uninstall other games.


You need 50gb of free spaces.
