Need Gear advice

Hi,I'm an returning player and so I did my class job quest line way before they were giving out the coffers with lv50 artifact gear.

So now I only have my wizard gear, I looked in to how to go about upgrading to the sorcerer gear that I missed, but I need the Antique gear to trade it in but my ilv is 43 and I don't think I can do the dungeons to get the Antique stuff.

So I need some direction on what to do now with obtaining gear, thanks for reading.

Run your available roulettes and Lv50 dungeons for Allagan Tomestones of Poetics, then buy IL 130 gear from the sparkly blue bag icon vendors right next to the starting city aetherytes.

That gear is only useful for looks now, there is better gear you can get with tomestones and because it's old it's even easier to obtain than it used to be.

Have you done the post-credits ARR storyline yet? You'll be given some gear as you work your way through those quests – not really good gear, but it'll start to get your ilevel up.

You can also have a look on the marketboard to see if there is gear that is cheap and/or you like the look of it.

And if you unlock the hard versions of Qarn or Sastasha, someone might be happy to run through the dungeon quickly with you (assuming undersized parties ignore ilevel – I think they do) to let you collect the antique pieces to trade for your i90 gear.

You can also run MSQ roulette, which covers just the two ARR finale dungeons – cutscenes are unskippable but you're "paid for your time" with tomestone currency for buying the top-level Ironworks gear.

Also look at unlocking the Crystal Tower raids if you didn't do that already. You'll need to have done them before reaching Heavensward, along with the hard versions of Ifrit, Titan and Garuda.
