The extra storage is definitely nice, and you can use whatever FC buffs you want, whenever you want, without having to worry about a larger group. And most importantly, you avoid the incessant blind FC invites that plague those without a tag.

I literally did this on one of my alts years ago <NO-FC> tag, got so anoyed at the blind 100-500+ member fc invites.

It's intended for them not to be solo, but sometimes someone might want a personal FC to use as extra storage/ect, so there's no rule in game saying 'oh you can't do that lolol'.

I plan to recruit eventually. My SO is coming over to Jenova sometime before Endwalker and I like to try and get a FC house before recruiting when the time comes
