For future consideration: Mimic (And a small rant on geomancers)

I've just been thinking about how this could work, and I've come up with this:

As a limited job like the Blue Mage, I can see it being more of an achievement to level it than anything else, and therefore, make mimic a job that can use the job skills from other jobs, with a caveat.
The job skills mimic can use are only unlocked if you've unlocked them in their respective jobs, so if you haven't leveled that job up to that point, your mimic can't use it either. Also, I believe that the job level of the mimic should be the average level of all of your jobs. With both of thee mechanics, mimic would be a job that would incentive you to level up all of your jobs, in order to get this more side activity-oriented job that can do a little bit of everything, granted you put the time and effort into it.
I would also add that mimic is a great job for those who like experimenting with different builds and hybridizing things in MMOs. Something that XIV hasn't yet given to the player base just yet. The job would be a great way to make it safe and fun without unbalancing the game as a whole.

Now, onto my side topic :P I've been very curious about geomancer ever since the one quest. (If you know, you know) and I have to wonder how they'd work. I think the best way to make it less weird, is to make it so their skills are all unaspected at first, and once you hit a certain threshold, you aspect your aether according to your current terrain, and gain 2 elements based off of it, therefore turning half your unaspected skills one element, and the other half, another. Say in the desert, you'd get half your skills to turn into fire skills, and the other half turn into wind. This way, your rotation doesn't change per se, but what it ultimately does.

On a bit of a necromantic note, I do feel this would also be a better incentive and "achievement" type of deal than just the Amaro mount, which would make it a good concept for a limited job since they're gimmicky.
