Is it against ToS to pull while someone watches cutscene?
Is it against ToS to pull while someone watches cutscene?
maybe, maybe not. I'm sure there can be argued on both sides.
Don't take away you don't have to be a dick and pull vs waiting but that's me.
I think biggest normal 4 man dungeons is Stone Vigil and Toto-Rak. But other than that yes.I would argue outside of castrum, there are no lengthy cutscenes. 1-2 minutes just isn’t lengthy for me. I am happy to see a cutscene if it is relevant and tells some story. I mean their alternative is to cut the dungeon off and then add a trial for the final boss like the end of Heavansward…fine..but not my taste.
What is the correct people?
The OP knew they would trigger people, heck this post supposedly is not something that happened to this person. I have not witnessed any of this behavior. If people did do what the OP said then they should be reported for harassment. However this game is about the story like it or not it's not going to change. It's rude and mean to ruin someone's first time in a dungeon. If you can't schedule your time better that's your problem. Deal with it and stop being rude, set aside the time you need to complete the dungeon or make your own group you can control. SE is all about the story if you don't like it play another game. The term 'you' is said to anyone who thinks everyone should skip content for their precious time schedule.

You are mad af, do you know how much time everyone will have to waste to entertain your idea of unskippable cutscenes everywhere? It's not happening ever.
Talk about being ignorant. One hour of cutscenes does stop people from using MSQ. It's just the number of people who are still using it to level up their classes passively is never-ending. It is no coincidence why some people have multiple classes level 80 and are playing worse than a sprout when it comes to AoE and ST rotation. They simply haven't played the game, they've been watching cutscenes.Again, if 20+ minutes of cutscenes don't stop people from using MSQ DF then I seriously doubt it will stop people from using the other ones.
It's up to you to decide.
I think it's common courtesy to not pull while a sprout and/or firsttimer is watching a cutscene. Luckily, many people share this mindset.
It's always a pleasant surprise if people wait before the last fights during the Dalriada or DR for example, and even ask if any party has a cutscene watcher. And that's not just a 30 second cutscene mind you, during content that was and might still be farmed by some people.
Adding to this, I've never seen people go off and get angry at early pullers (except during Hunts mind you, but thats another topic altogether). Only thing I've seen recently was during the last boss of Toto Rak.
The other DD, a sprout, was watching his cutscene and the tank just pulled. Because the healer joined him after a while, I decided to join too (since it wouldn't have made a difference, with the tank and healer both being in there already) and sadly we killed the boss before the sprout could finish his cutscene.
I felt very bad when all the sprout wrote in the chat was sad smiley after we were done, and I wasn't even the one who pulled. He didn't yell at the tank, the heal or me mind you, or even get angry. I think he was just...sad and disappointed. It left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Me too, Erenville, me too
Completely missed the point again didn’t you? THEY SHOULD DESIGN CONTENT IN A WAY THAT DOES NOT REQUIRE A DEBATE. Got it?Your wrong.. sprouts who it's their first time there.. who queued into the duty with the actual finder and not roulette have more importance then you or anyone who is there from roulette.
The story is the main focus of this game.. the devs have said as much and forcing a new player to skip the story is just as bad as spoiling it for them.. first timers will always be the focus of the game and everyone else second..
If you can't let someone enjoy their first time threw then your more of the problem then anyone else.. and are purely the reason for unskippable scenes in MSQ.. and will be responsible for unskippables in future content too
I just don’t see the need for bosses to have a 1-2 minute introduction, we have thousands of bosses that make do with just walking out and roaring at the screen. You don’t see threads about wishing a boss had more screen time before you actually got to fight it.I would argue outside of castrum, there are no lengthy cutscenes. 1-2 minutes just isn’t lengthy for me. I am happy to see a cutscene if it is relevant and tells some story. I mean their alternative is to cut the dungeon off and then add a trial for the final boss like the end of Heavansward…fine..but not my taste.

Missed the point again didn't you? If they did that sprouts wouldn't be able to have a timely Q, plus you get extra rewards for taking sprouts through content. If you don't like it don't use the roulette. There is no debate SE wants you to be a good team member and to cooperate.
