Low level glamour?

Hi, I'm a newb returning player who has played off and on for a few years so I'm still lost on a lot of things.

I have a lot of friends who are just starting out and are very interested in picking out outfits for their characters when they're still a low level (around 30). I want to be able to help them find sets that they're able to use, but I don't know where to start. Does anyone have any suggestions or can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can browse low level armor models? Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure it's 100% everything, but Eorzea Collection has its own gearsets section, if you click on any of them it tells you where it's acquired also. Though before they added that I used the Gamerescape site for FFXIV, personally

Lots of glamour gear is available for the level 1 player. An example: Anemos gear for body, hands, legs, feet. Fairly inexpensive on the MB at the moment. Note that it is glamour gear, with no stats, and that you can't really do anything with glamour until you hit level 15 and do the appropriate quests.

Just be sure to price the offering to determine worth. That Lalafell in Moonfire gear is, I believe, a cash shop item. Not a bad place to start, mind you -- there are any number of cool gear offerings suitable to be worn by a low-level player from there. But ... it'll cost money.

Then there are the gear pieces you'll find on the Market Board with prices in the hundreds of thousands of gil. Look up Sailor Brais, for example. Why so expensive? Because some of the materials used to craft it in-game (Mariner Cotton Cloth) are expensive, and you need 2 of them.

You and your friends will have fun with it. Take it one step at a time. Also, check out the gear at the Gold Saucer. Some of it is a bit pricey, but you can easily make 10,000 MGP on any given weekend just by showing up and going through the Fashion Show with your current gear.
